  • COVID-19 Update 15 November 2020

    Good news! The Family History Connections (AIGS) Resource Centre is re-opening from Monday 16th November and will be open through to Wednesday 16th Dec 2020, with a limited service and opening hours. 
    Bookings will be essential for computers, and no other research can be undertaken at this time.

    This means the table, fiche & film readers, scanners, meeting room, kitchen and ALL printed materials are UNAVAILABLE. We know that you will understand this first step and assure you that as soon as restrictions are eased, more services will become available.

    Please read the requirements carefully to avoid being disappointed.

  • NEW! Deceased Online now available

    Deceased Online is now available at the Resource Centre providing access to Cemetery records across the United Kingdom.
    You can search Cemetery registers by name, country, county, region, burial authority or crematorium and gain access to -
     Computerised cremation and burial records
     Digital scans of cremation and burial registers
     Photographs of graves and memorials
     Cemetery maps showing grave locations
     Other occupants in the same grave
    There are currently 163 cemeteries and crematoria included in their database with more being added regularly. The bulk of the records included date from the Cemeteries Act of 1857 to current day records; however there are cemeteries that include earlier dates.
